How it feels
Enjoyable B-tier melee sleeper. Throwing shrapnel Wildfire Bombs and zip-lining into combat with Harpoon provides a distinctly wild, dynamic tempo unlike any other hunter spec.

Harpoon into pack -> drop double Wildfire Bomb -> Tip of the Spear Mongoose Bite chain.
The clunk
Stigmatized in PUGs as a melee hunter; pet pathing can occasionally bug out on vertical dungeon geometry.
