C-TIER Invisible Support
Invisible combat impact. Personal damage numbers hurt emotionally, and buffing allies lacks visceral feedback.
Previously rated F on this site, before the October 2026 community research.
How it feels
One of the least-liked specs alongside BM Hunter, though some of its own players say it feels really good. Mechanically easier in 12.1 (Ebon Might buffs whole group), but deeply unrewarding: personal damage is depressing in PUGs and your spells have zero visceral combat feedback.
Peak moment
Synchronizing Breath of Eons with your Unholy DK and Arcane Mage's 2-minute burst windows.
The clunk
Completely unplayable solo in Delves/world content; personal contribution feels ghost-like and invisible.
What players say
Community tier C. Not unanimous: its own players are split.
Why people love it: Some Augmentation players on the PTR forums say it 'feels really good' if you like supporting.
Why people quit it: Rated 'horrible to play' at beta; players say Breath of Eons and Duplicate bend the spec until 'nothing else really matters', and it gives little personal feedback.
Popularity: 0.1% of Mythic+.
