S-TIER Demon Commander
Summoning Pit Lords, wild imps, and demonic tyrants. Fun-and-strong in Mythic+.
Previously rated B on this site, before the October 2026 community research.
How it feels
Summoning a demonic horde with Diabolist Ruin spells and Demonic Tyrant ramps provides tremendous fantasy fulfillment, which made it the most-named favourite in Season 1 and an enjoyable powerhouse now.
Peak moment
Summoning 12+ Wild Imps and Dreadstalkers, then casting Demonic Tyrant and calling down a Diabolist Pit Lord.
The clunk
Heavy hard-casting requirement makes target-swapping and active dodging feel rigid.
What players say
Community tier S.
Why people love it: Most-named favourite in Season 1: the minions and their banter, safe solo play because the Felguard tanks. Now also strong after September buffs.
Why people quit it: Part of the current praise is the pleasure of being strong after buffs.
Popularity: Rising: up three places to 6th in Mythic+ in week 3 (Icy Veins).
